Kitchenware (mugs, bowls, etc.)

The pots are microwave and dishwasher safe (unless otherwise noted). They are watertight and are intended for both hot or cold use.

The ceramic material can get very hot when boiling liquid is poured into them or when heated in a microwave. Please use caution and judgement in these situations.

Food safe glazes have been used (unless otherwise noted).

As a general rule, never put boiling water into a cold pot. Please let the pot warm up to room temperature or above before pouring in hot liquid.

Please also avoid putting any pottery over an open flame or directly over a heating element such as a burner.

Incense holders

The incense holders are made for holding both sticks of incense and cones in the middle section of the piece (unless otherwise noted).

Many are made with melted glass and are not food safe. Please do not add copious amounts liquids to the glass portion, however, feel free to clean the piece with a damp cloth when needed. Sometimes the incense can stain the glaze. It is best to wipe it clean after each use.

The trays are made to catch the ash from the burning incense but sometimes the ash from the very top of the stick does not make it into the bowl when it falls. Please ensure the incense burner is not placed on a surface that ash will ruin.

Always use caution when using incense near flammable objects. Do not leave incense burning out of sight or near children. Ensure the stick of incense is secured in the hole in the middle of the piece before lighting.

Planters

My planters are mainly made for indoor plants, but they have also been tested for outdoor use. Please note: a planter that has wet soil that freezes in cold weather will likely crack from the expansion of water. Please use judgment when leaving planters outside in freezing weather.
